Twenty Twelve Grads.

When I first embarked on my first day of high school, I didn’t know that I was going to have to say so many farewells before my senior year even started. The seniors at my high school are truly amazing people and I am sincerely going to miss them next year. It’s amazing how time can pass by with no worries sometimes, then the next minute you know, you’re getting ready for your senior year, graduation, or freshman year of college. Counting down the last seconds of the seniors’ last day of school on Wednesday was an indescribable feeling. The best word I can use to describe the feeling is bittersweet. Bitter because I won’t be seeing the seniors around school anymore. Sweet because the end of high school means the beginning of a new exciting chapter in the seniors’ lives.

I can’t even imagine how I’m going to feel at this very moment next year. Sometimes when I’m all snuggled up in my bed at night, I think…”I can’t wait to go to college!” or “I just want it to be the end of senior year already.” Other times I think, “I seriously do NOT want to grow up!” Life is just so darn confusing. At least I always try to be optimistic and happy. That’s all you can really do right? And obviously work really hard..and be a nice person…=] To all of the high school seniors out there, congratulations and good luck on your future endeavors. To my fellow senior friends at Hull High School…show’em how it’s done at college and go make the world a better place for humanity. You have all helped me grow as a person in so many ways and, aside from the teachers at Hull High, you guys have been some of the best educators I’ve ever had. You guys were one crazy/intelligent/hilarious/invigorating/AWESOME class and you all definitely left a lasting impact on Hull High. Once again, big cheers and congrats to all the graduates out there!
